Conservancy Park Belleview
/Overview. With Boone Cliffs and Middle Creek Park busy, I headed over to Conservancy Park Belleview that only had a couple other visitors. This is a nice little park that was formerly a gravel pit. Through a lot of effort, the area is being restored with native grasses, wildflowers, and plenty of birds to see.

Trailhead. Parking for this hike is located just off KY-18 past Middle Creek Park. [map]
Trail navigation. I hiked the trail clockwise from the east end of the parking lot. Start by following a wide grass track along the property boundary and following it around until reaching single track trail near the trees, short of the wetlands. Take the trail here to enjoy the Lee McNeely Birding Trail before returning to the lake. Continue around the lake until reaching the trail to the parking lot.
Lakeview sunrise/sunset. This would make for a nice sunrise/sunset spot with ample benches located around the lake.
